Make a colourful Frisbee A great way to practice your soldering skills Designed and manufactured in the UK by KitronikThis is a great fun Kitronik PICAXE Frisbee Kit that is sure to grab the interest. When thrown the Frisbee will produce a visual display created by the LEDs on the PCB. At the same time the board can also be programmed so that is will produce a sound or play a tune (requires the addition of Piezo element buzzer, not included). When the Frisbee stops spinning the LEDs will turn off and the sound or tune will stop. The Frisbee can be made by vacuum forming.The kit uses a PICAXE-08M2 chip and is programmed using the PICAXE flowchart software (www.picaxe.com). Programming is via a 3.5mm jack interface (requires a PICAXE programming lead).
